Question Printer Friendly Version
How can I recycle my old IT equipment?

Answer

Old electrical and electronic equipment should not be disposed with general waste. Instead it should be collected separately and sent for specialist treatment and recycling. Check with the IT retailer you are buying from, to see if they have recycling schemes in place – eg. UkOnline offers free take-back of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) when new equipment is purchased from them.
