| Welcome to Online Connect IT, the home for IT help and advice for small to medium sized businesses. |
| |
|
We’ve created this site to offer simple, easy-to-follow IT advice, and clear explanations and answers to IT problems. The website offers descriptions of complicated technical information, but in a non-technical way – avoiding ‘tech jargon’ and instead using everyday language to de-mystify IT.
We know that for small to medium sized businesses a problem with IT can mean a loss in revenue – either due to costly consultations with an IT service provider, or hours of an employees’ time spent trying to fix the problem. With the launch of www.OnlineConnectIT.com – our innovative free website – all this is about to change!
So whether you’re looking for basic information on the kind of IT systems that your business needs, or a quick-fix answer to a more urgent IT problem, Online Connect IT is the website for you.
On the website you’ll find:
- Questions & Answers – available as a browse-able category list, an open search bar where you can type in a subject, and an option to email the website if you are unable to find the answer to a specific question.
- How-to Videos – step-by-step instructions for a variety of topics, including power problems with computers. The how-to videos section is designed to simplify instructions even further – the idea being that it’s often easier to copy what someone is doing, rather than follow written instructions. If you have your own clever trick to solve an IT problem, why not upload your own video?
- Resources – available for download, resources include more detailed information on particular subject areas, eg. Your Business and the Internet – a pocket book from the Institute of Directors.
And don’t forget to sign up for the RSS feeds too, to make sure you get all the latest news and updates from Online Connect IT.
We’re really excited about Online Connect IT – we hope you find the site useful. If you have any thoughts or suggestions on ways we can improve the site, then please get in touch with us – either by leaving a comment on the blog, or by emailing us directly.
